Today we had lots of girls in kitchen putting their culinary skills to the test to produce their item of food.
Monica has the country of Ivory Coast which is located in the continent of Africa. Monica made Aloko which is fried banana with onions and chilli.
Kafo had the country of Bosnia and Herzgovena which is in the continent of America She made for us a traditional pastry and potato dish. Kasanita had the country of Russia which is located in the continent of Europe. Kasanita made for us a chocolate cake which had jam in it.
Nomhle had the country of Colombia which is in South America. She made for us a pastry dish filled with ham, cheese and pineapple.
Torah made for us some traditional ginger biscuits dusted with icing sugar from the Netherlands. This country is also located in the continent of Europe.
Very good job today girls! It is awesome to see the thought and precision that you are putting into your meals!
Tomorrow is our last day of trying all of these great foods!
I liked all the dishes, the banana chips, both the pastry dishes, the ginger cookies and the chocolate cake but I think chocolate cake goes well with jam but good job girls
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed and loved the dishes we tasted and I think that the pastries had a great texture to them and before you know it your mouth is full of flavor and taste.
ReplyDeleteI like kasa's chocolate cake with the jam and it gave you a burst of rich, milk chocolate and the jam gave it a refreshment too. I liked the saltiness in Monica's banana chips they tasted like something similar to what I've tasted before.
And I really really really thought Torahs ginger cookies tasted extra nice with the icing sugar on them. My favorite/preferred dish was Torahs ginger cookies! Well done guys!
